At the end of the day, there's Cascade Inn where the incredible sights, sounds, tastes and smells (Adirondack resto) are major bonuses. You got the nice double-bed rooms with thermostats, cable TV, and baths. Down at the resto, you could hang around for steak or an Italian dish. I hear they also offer golf packages that also include lodging and breakfast. This motel is absolutely smashing. When I go on a
good hiking expedition early in the morning, I could see a great view of sparkling Lake Placid, which is one reason I was at Adirondacks in the first place.
